The UEFA UEFA has recently announced the referee team for the first leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 in the 2017-2018 season between Chelsea and Barcelona. Accordingly, referee Cuneyt Cakir was chosen as the main goalkeeper.
The two assistant referees are Mr. Bahattin Duran and tarik Ongun while Mr. Mustafa Eyisoy takes on the fourth referee position. These are all people who share the same taste as the main referee.
The 2011 2012 season was the last season Chelsea and Barcelona faced each other in this arena. In the return match at Nou Camp, referee Cuneyt Cakir also blew the whistle.
Chelsea beat Barcelona 3-2 in the semi-finals that year. In the meeting at Stamford Bridge, Didier Drogba scored to help The Blues take a 1-0 lead. About 2 weeks later, the two sides drew 2-2. In which, Fernando Torres (Ch Chelsea) scored the last goal in the 90+2 minute.
